You can edit any contact that is saved in your Chatsie Calls app through the Chatsie Menu or via Chatsie on the web. For example, if you have to modify an existing contact e.g. ‘Mike’ then it can be done in just a few steps.
The procedure for editing a contact through the Chatsie Menu is as follows:
On the Chatsie Menu, tap “Other options”, then “Edit saved numbers”. The page will display a list of saved numbers. Tap the saved number you wish to edit. You can modify the contact’s name and phone number as required.
You can also edit whether a contact is visible in the Shortcuts section on the Chatsie Menu. To be able to call a contact from the Shortcuts section, you must toggle “Show on Menu” to “ON” for calls. To be able to text a contact from the Shortcuts section, you must toggle “Show on Menu” to “ON” for texts.
You must then tap “Save” in order for these changes to be saved.
The procedure for editing a contact via Chatsie on the web is as follows:
Click Add and edit contacts to modify any contact under the selected phone.
The list of existing contacts displays.
Click the desired contact to edit e.g. “David”.
The Edit page displays.
You can modify the contact’s name and phone number as required, and click Save changes.
The selected contact has been modified.
Note: The “Syncing” message at the top of the screen will show briefly when saving changes. It will display indefinitely if you are having connection issues.
